MASTER IT: Smokey eye nude lip

Face 

Create the look of flawless skin with a luminous foundation like NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. 
Warm up frame of your face with a matte bronzer. 
Do not use a bronzer with shimmer it will create a muddy look.

Eyes 

Brows are very important in this look.  

Fill in any gaps. Use an eyeshadow base for a lasting application. 
Try Sharkskin shadestick by MAC.  
Apply it from the middle of the lid to the outer corners. 
Bring it down under the lower lashline. 
Line your waterline with a waterproof black eyeliner. 
Dust a taupe shadow into the crease area. Blend well. 
Take a shimmery gray shadow from the inner corners and blend into the center of the lid. Lastly, add MAC shadow in Vanilla under brow.

Cheeks 

Lightly add the same matte bronze to the apples of your cheeks. 
Swirl a bit of pink cream blush for a natural flush.

Lips 

Line and fill your lips with MAC liner in Subculture or a similar nude pink shade. 
Smooth on Cruising lipstick by NARS.

Let your freckles show

There's a phrase that says "Freckles are kisses from God" so whether you have fair or olive skin you should let you freckles show through your makeup. Even if you're a makeup artist you should make sure your clients freckled features show too!


There's a couple of way to do this.

• Use a tinted moisturizer or sheer foundation that won't overpower the skin natural texture.
• If you need more coverage then just sheer out a full coverage foundation formula by adding a dime sized amount of moisturizer. Just do this over the areas where freckles are prominent so you can get the coverage you need in other areas.
